  Whole House Remodel and Addition

The Project: With much needed updating and deferred maintenance issues the options were to sell and move or stay in the home and remodel. After an exercise of house hunting and after careful consideration the homeowners decided that they truly liked the little home on the oversized lot and its proximity to trails and large park like areas. So they decided to bare the home down to the studs, remove and replace everything as well as add additional square footage.

Special Note: Additions were carefully planned at four separate areas of the home with special consideration given to adding windows, removing light obstructions and “Daylighting” the interior. Also, obstructing stub walls and dropped headers were removed in the gathering areas of the home to promote and enhance the feeling of openness.
